What's your favorite midnight snack?
Cereal... but only the unwholesome kind, such as Cinnamon Toast Crunch, or Golden Graham. It gives me the perfect balance between sweetness, and fullness :) Plus it's easy to eat while I'm nursing... Yummmmm.
If you could enforce one rule of etiquette, what would it be?
I would totally enforce slow SAFE driving while in parking garages and parking lots. I'm not sure if this is considered etiquette but obviously having it as law makes NO difference to a lot of drivers. I get so upset (like emotional upset) when I'm walking my two year old to our car after shopping at the mall and a driver will come screaming around a corner, or speed up to unsafe speeds at longer stretches of parking spaces in lots. I seriously feel like their putting my son's life at risk by speeding past us that fast, if they made one little mistake they could seriously hurt us or any pedestrian for that matter. It's just so rude, so inconsiderate and SO UNSAFE!!
Today was my son Zeke's final "Toddler Time" class, and I'm really bummed. It was the first time Zeke had ever experienced a "class room setting" type of environment, and surprisingly he responded really well. For those of you who haven't met my son he's what you would call rambunctious. I was a little worried when I enrolled him in the class that he'd be too excited and wouldn't be able follow directions, or the structure of a class room. But to my relieve he handled everything beautifully! He made so many friends, and developed so much since he first began the classes. It's was every Monday (excluding holidays) from 10-11:30 at our community center, we enrolled him in mid January and been attending since. I can't wait until classes start back up again in August, I know Zeke will really enjoy going back!
So my husband has been playing World of Warcraft for almost 3 years now, and for 3 years he's been trying to get me to play. I wasn't ever interested in playing until about a month ago when my 2 year old started playing. Now because my son is only 2 his idea of "playing" is picking a fight with the non player characters or "NPC" and dying. Usually my husband would just help him by bringing his character back to life and all that. But eventually my husband wasn't home and my son needed my help. So I reluctantly resorted in learning the basic's of the game... just to help my son. But to my complete surprise I soon learned that WOW is a really FUN game and not as hard as I thought it'd be to learn and play. I soon made my own character and started playing on my down time, it's been about a week now and I'm already level 20! I know I sound like a total dork, but I don't really mind, it's fun to have this new thing in commen with my hubby. And lets face it, I love watching my girl warrior kick butt :)
Dig out that photo album and show us your high school graduation picture.
Submitted by Terri. What's up with the super short bangs, man... lol
Grab and piece of paper and a pen and draw a self-portrait in under 2 minutes. Then share it with us!
Okay, so I'm not a master artist, actually I've never taken an kind art class but I thought this challenge would be fun. I hope everyone shows off their skills, it would be fun to see all of yours :)
Show us what band you'd like to be the lead singer for.
This is a tough question because the only way I'd want to be the lead singer of ANY band is if I magically developed some since of tone. If I got up on stage with my favorite bands and sang with the vocal skills I personally posses I'd boo myself off stage... I'd be totally ruining the music, and putting the band to shame! lol But if I could sing and sound exactly like the lead singer of any band, then it'd totally be "The David Crowder Band". When ever I listen to their music I can't help but dance and sing along. It always uplifts me, teaches me, and speaks to me, which (I believe) is the greatest things any band could ever hope for. If you havent heard any of their music I strongly suggest you'd check them out! My favorite album is "The Lime CD", because it has the most beautiful track called "Heaven came down".
What's the worst part about your job?
Having to punish my son, my heart breaks when I see those puppy dog eyes, those big alligator tears and the sound of his little sad voice. He's going though his independent stage aka "terrible two's", so it's been difficult needless to say. I'm pretty lucky because his normally a wonderful, loving, sweet little boy :)
